Privacy and Security of Learner Records

1. Infinite ensures that its contracted database hosting provider meets established security and maintenance requirements. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the use of firewalls, secure socket infrastructure, virtual private networks, malware scanning and removal, and nightly data backups to ensure the protection of learner information in the event of system damage or data loss.
2. Infinite does not release learner record information without the expressed, written consent of the learner. Exceptions to this policy may include the release of directory information, emergency situations, or lawfully issued subpoenas, as required by law.
3. Learners are notified, in writing or electronically, of Infinite's policy regarding the release of learner records prior to the conclusion of the learning activity.
4. Learners may submit requests for training records and Continuing Education Units earned by contacting Infinite through its website or by email. Learner records consist of all attended learning events, regardless of successful completion, and are maintained for a minimum of seven years.
5. Training records will be made available to learners no later than four weeks following the last date of the learning event.

Full Disclosure Policy

1. All instructors, whether employed by Infinite or engaged as independent contractors, are required to disclose to Infinite any relevant financial or other interests in products, instruments, devices, services, or materials that are discussed as part of a learning activity. Instructors must also disclose the source of any related compensation.
2. This disclosure requirement is included in Infinite's employee handbook, which is distributed during onboarding. Employees are required to review, acknowledge, and sign their understanding of this policy.
3. Any individual who refuses to disclose relevant financial relationships associated with products, instruments, devices, services, or materials is not permitted to have control over, or responsibility for, the development, management, presentation, or evaluation of any learning activity.
4. All required disclosures are communicated to learners in advance of the learning activity and are included in applicable marketing materials and course communications prior to the commencement of the learning event.
